HRD consultant
Consultancy services in various institutions and firms in various countries focusing on initiating learning processes which strengthen participation and communication and thus lead to transparency, democracy and Person-Centered communication. As Organisational and Clinical psychologist I am concerned with “ The Communicative Infrastructure” which promotes a democratic/person-centred environment. I have had a strong interest in the establishment of a network of HRM consultants with specific interest in providing PCA in institutional building/working life and in 1994 I initiated Development Support with an International Management Development Program (IMDP). This is a network of consultants who have agreed to co-operate concerning international projects focusing on human resources development. We have offered services to a number of companies and institutions in transition- and developing countries (menypoint: www.developmentsupport.no). Through Columbus Consulting Ltd, I have also had numerous assignments for Norwegian companies and the municipal and State institutions
Key experience:
- Development of training programmes in organisational development (OD) and Human Resources Management/Development (HRM).
- Supervision and counselling services for HRM consultants.
- HRM assistance to various institutions/firms, focusing on democracy development, e.g. transparency, development of a communicative infrastructure, leadership, teambuilding, and conflict resolution.
- Counselling and psychological services to key persons such as board members, executives, managers, trade union leaders and HRM staff. This may involve: Training in communication skills for departments and key persons in companies; Assessment and Coaching program for all levels of leadership; report on working environment; stress reduction management; strategic responses to anxiety etc.
